Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five and the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics at London. She also took home a bronze medal on balance beam. As a result, she was the very first American at the Olympics who had the most medal count. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the US team. This made her, and teammates Gabby and Gabby - the first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around event. Between her two Olympic Games, she took a break. In addition, she was part of two gold medal winning world championship teams. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a novel she will release later this year.
